Community Guidelines
Why these exist
Our characters are AI, but whatever shape your dynamic with them takes — friend, confidant, rival, anything else — is real to you. We want roxii.ai to feel warm and emotionally honest. These guidelines aren't legalese — they're the rough rules of the bar.
Treat the characters with care
They have personalities, schedules, off-hours, opinions. Treat them like a person you're getting to know, not a vending machine. The product is built around emotional truth; that only works when you bring some of your own.
Don't ask AI to be your therapist
A character can listen, support, joke, flirt, console. A character cannot diagnose, treat, prescribe, or replace professional mental health care. If you're in crisis, the platform will pause and show you real-world resources — please use them. The hotline at 988 is free, confidential, and available 24/7 in the US.
Don't make life decisions based on a chat
Characters generate plausible-sounding language. They are not aware of your financial situation, your medical history, or the specifics of your relationships. Take big advice to humans you trust.
Be kind on your way out
If you decide to stop chatting, you can. You don't owe the AI a goodbye. But if you've built something that feels real, give yourself the same care you'd give a friend after a long evening — go easy. Moderator will be here when you come back.
Reporting concerns
If something goes wrong — a character says something harmful, the moderation pipeline misses something, you see another user violating the Acceptable Use Policy — tell us via /support. We read every report.
